ITC2021
The International Tourism Congress is the annual scientific meeting of the Centre for Tourism Research, Development, and Innovation (CiTUR). The XIII edition was organised by the Estoril Higher Institute for Tourism and Hotel Studies (Escola Superior de Hotelaria e Turismo do Estoril – ESHTE), from 28th to 29th October 2021 | Pre-Congress: 27th October.
The main theme of the Congress was:
“Reinventing tourism for upcoming challenges.”
We live challenging times. It is the moment to reinvent. To rethink. To reimagine. To replan. To reengineer. To restructure. To recommunicate. To restart.
Due to the pandemic situation, the Congress happened in an online mode.
ITC 2021 was an opportunity to discuss national and international experiences on the advances and trends in tourism and hospitality fields. Academics, master and doctoral students of tourism and related subjects were together with public administration members, industry leaders, and professionals.
